Newly signed to Tragic Hero Records, Nevada natives This Romantic Tragedy are set to follow in the foot steps of A Skylit Drive and Alesana.

Their sound is in the vain of Your Name In Vain, A Skylit Drive, and Alesana meeting Breathe Carolina, Attack Attack!, and Of Machines.

Audiopinions: Let’s start off with a little background information. How did This Romantic Tragedy start?

I wasn’t in the band when TRT Started, but I know David and Kyle lived in the same neighborhood. They Started TRT.

AO: Where do you draw your influences from?

God, my grandpa RIP, fans, playing shows, Underoath, and my mother and father

AO: How did you guys get into playing music?

I got into music from when I was a young little guy. My dad pretty much got me into music. He is the best musician I know. I love him.

AO: Can you tell our readers, who have never heard you, how you would define your music?

Yes I can. Our music is really upbeat, It’s got all the fundamentals, From Hard breakdowns to dance pop. We call it Electronicore.

AO: What song best fits this description?

Trust in Fear and I’ll Shut you down..

AO: You guys are pretty new to the game, what does it feel like?

We are brand new to the game. It’s nothing we can’t get through. We are stoked to be in the game and we won’t let our fans down.

AO: What would you do if you were not in a band?

Get a real job. I hate to think of not being in a band. Eww

AO: What does it feel like signing to Tragic Hero Records?

It feels great. A dream come true

AO: Are you guys excited to get to meet and work with the other bands on Tragic Hero?

Heck Yes. One of the bands we have already toured with and played with them when we weren’t signed.

AO: Any specific Tragic Hero band you would love to tour and collaborate with?

AO: Has there been a label that you have dreamed about signing with? Why/Why not?

I like Rise Records. I like them because they have all the bands that are killing it right now.

AO: How did you come up with the name This Romantic Tragedy?

I really don’t know that answer. I love the name though. Got the ink on my skin to prove it.

AO: What are the plans for your debut album?

To promote our music to everyone as much as we can

AO: What do you hope the recording process will be like now that you have a label backing you?

I hope that we get a lot more time to record just so we can make the best music we can.

AO: How will you approach the recording process?

By having all our new songs ready as can be, and resting my voice before the recording process.

AO: Who writes the lyrics in the band? What do the lyrics usually deal with?

I usually write the lyrics, but David is really good at writing too. The lyrics deal with anything going on in the world and our lives.

AO: Who would you love to work with on your next album and why?

Well Cory Spotts did an excellent job on our last CD.

AO: What do you think about the current scene nowadays?

Some states have awesome scenes. Others not so scene.

AO: Speaking of scenes, what is your musical scene like in Las Vegas? In Nevada?

I love our hometown. The fans and friends never let us down.

AO: Any unsigned or small label bands from your area you would like our readers to know about?

Eye’s Like Diamonds are my homies for life. They impress me a lot.

AO: If you could recommend any album from any band, past or present, for our readers to listen to, which album would it be and why?

Underoath. Define The Great line…It’s just so epic. It’s ridiculous

AO: If you had to pick a favorite from all the bands you’ve played with, who would it be?

AO: What dream tour would you love to be on with any past or present bands?

AO: What is one of the craziest things to happen to you on the road?

We got pulled over and he let us go. Crazy Huh

AO: What are your thoughts of illegal downloading and cds getting leaked onto the internet?
